Everyone was ready to help her.
Everything has been stiched by Bindu's nimble fingers.
If anyone comes to see me, please tell them to wait for some time.
A. Someone wants you on the telephone.
B. But no one knows I'm here!
Each of, every one of, either of, neither of + plural noun / plural pronoun + singular verb:
Each of the homes has a securtiys ystem.
Every one of the students is willing to cooperate with us.
Neither of the dictionaries is useful.
Either of them was to have been punished.
None of, any of + plural noun / uncountable noun (milk, rice, wheat, water, oil, etc) + singular verb:
None of the water was wasted.
If any of the water is wasted, we will not allow you to take more water.
None of the books is useful.
If any of the dictionaries suits you, I will buy it for you.
None of the students has paid the fees.
But None of the students have paid *their* fees.
