Reporting of Imperative Sentences
The common reporting verbs are TOLD and ASKED. Others are ORDERED, COMMANDED, REQUESTED, ADVISED, URGED, WARNED, REMINDED etc.
The headmaster said to the peon, “Buy a pen from the shop.”
